Ambientlive was formed in 1997 to promote, as its name suggests, live music of the ambient (and not-so-ambient) form. Due to public demand it quickly changed into providing albums, initially for artists appearing at the concerts. This was somewhat limiting, so we changed to releasing albums from artists worldwide. John Sherwood is the driving force behind Ambientlive, and has been personally involved in EM since the 60's.
