David Wright & Carys David Wright & Carys

2 albums available
on AD Music

‘Prophecy’ finds David Wright joined by vocalist Carys and extending his musical palette to a degree that may surprise even his most devoted fans. As is clear from the titles, ‘Prophecy’ has both an oceanic and a space theme, yet neither dominate the album. The structure is typical ‘David Wright’, but the music has a somewhat different feel, with the beautiful vocal textures of Carys adding another dimension and with themes blending effortlessly together to the extent that they form a complete piece, one is unlikely to play only a single track from this album.
‘Prophecy’ incorporates elements of electronic, space,...

Mäläskä Mäläskä

1 album available
on Deserted Island Music

Mäläskä is established in 2016 by Remy Stroomer (synthesizers/sequencing) and Petter Janse (guitar/sequencing). Two musicians from different musical traditions, who compromise each other in electronic improvisation. This in their own world Mäläskä. Floating. Earthly. Spontaneous. Symbiotic. Ad Libitum. Sometimes familiar. Sometimes surprising. Sometimes nothing. But then also everything.

The improvised LSD-electronica of Mäläskä is being created on the moment. With the exception of a couple of pre-programmed elements, nothing is certain during an performance of the band.
If there really is need to compare, one might describe Mäläskä’s music style as a mix of The Orb, Amon Düül and Brian Eno.

The band...

BatteryDead is an electronic music project by founded by German musician Christian Ahlers in 2004.

Christian started composing music in 1987 for the Amiga demoscene. His music is a melodic mixture of soundscapes, sequences and rhythm for chilling out. The goal of BatteryDead is to inspire, entertain, and at some moments touch the listener's soul. BatteryDead has his own style, so it is hard to compare him to other musicians.

Ketil Lien (aka WIM) Ketil Lien (aka WIM)

1 album available
on AD Music

Wim aka Ketil Lien was born in Trondheim, Norway in 1972. His love for synth music comes from listening to the electronic music of Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis and Tangerine Dream, and his music is clearly a fusion of those three influences. Ketil played with various keyboards for years before finally purchasing his first real synth, a Kawai K11 and his first computer and Cakewalk software in 1995. He soon added a Korg X5D synth module to expand his musical capabilities. It was with this setup that Ketil creativity began to flourish.
But Ketil had to concentrate on his studies,...

Cobra Zeno Cobra Zeno

1 album available
on Cobra Zeno

Cobra Zeno was founded in 2011 by John Tillman and Danny O'Shaughnessy, although we've tinkered about musically since about 1986!

Today we produce original melodic electronic music, and hopefully bring something new to the EM scene.

The influences on our sound are diverse, covering such genres as 80's disco, retrowave, spacesynth, 70's Krautrock, hints of 50's Rock N Roll and also film (mainly cheap 80's ninja flicks!!), and even some laid-back soundtrack type stuff...

'Now Or Never' is our first complete offering and is full of rockin grooves, interspersed with some semi-acoustic tracks to vary the mood a bit. 'NON' took about five...

Klaus Hoffmann Hoock and Hans Werner Fasbender Klaus Hoffmann Hoock and Hans Werner Fasbender

1 album available
on AD Music

Besides his work on projects like MIND OVER MATTER, COSMIC HOFFMANN or MINDALA Klaus Hoffmann-Hoock has always liked to play spontaneously and create improvisations with many different musical partners.
On the occasion of the opening of an art exhibition with paintings and graphics by the German painter and experimental musician Hans-Werner Fassbender on November 20, 1998 at Moenchengladbach / Germany, Hoffmann-Hoock (MEGATRON – digital Mellotron) and Fassbender (prepared stringinstruments, synthesisers) presented their spontaneous musical impressions of the pictures and printings on display to the audience.
On one hand “HEARTBEAT” offers moments of wide, calm spherical pads with a deep flow reminding us...

STAN DART is Richard Hasiba from Austria. Richard about Stan Dart:
"I write songs influenced by a certain mood or the wish to reflect events which happened to me. Sometimes a single picture can contain the idea of a complete song, sometimes a movie (or its music) influences me to write a track.Whatever it is, it´s always a request of my heart to tell a story.

I´ve grown up with the “New Age” music of the 80ies, with soundtracks by James Horner, Joel Goldsmith or Alan Silvestri. I´ve experienced the vivid pop music of that time as well as the great electronic...
