Music felt like DNA embedded occurring naturally at an early age. Driven by love for Electronic music and instruments co founded the Belgian duo Pillion in the late '70's touring and releasing the live album Enigmas. Then Pillion took a break and Walter focused on a solo career releasing several thematic albums with complex, melodic arrangements. The last commercial release was Zebra in 1989. Since then, Walter followed other musical interests such as film and stage scoring, composing music in a wide range of musical styles, sometimes working with other musicians, or Friends. Wavestar were John Dyson and David Ward-Hunt who met up in 1983 and hit it off as they say with their complimentray musical styles David being the more 'tradtionally' EM orientated whereas John came from a more 'melodic' background. They released their first cassette 'Mind Journey' in 1984 and after their debut performance at UK Electronica in Sheffield in 1985 they rose to become one of the most popular EM artistes of the period, culminating in a USA release of the 'now classic' album 'Moonwind' in 1987 which to this day (2009) still sells! more info... |

The Duo Wellenfeld created their debut-album Cosmic Waves in the years 2003 and 2004. With their song Monolith the two Ruhrpottler Andreas Braun and Detlef Dominiczak reached top score at the Schwinnungen-election 2003 in the category best song. This is remarkable for newcomers with a new Electronical Music which is signified by a distinctive style from the very beginning. Both musicians basically differ in their own musical background. Until the project Wellenfeld had been founded, Detlef, the older one, only consumed music passively, preferably Krautrock, whereas Andreas started to produce Techno and EBM-productions already in the 90's.
