Spyra (aka Wolfram der Spyra) is a musician and sound artist from Kassel in Germany. He makes music that spans the boundaries between contemporary electronic music and modern rave culture. Compositions are derived from classic cosmic music structure yet influenced by 21st century sensibilities.

Spyra began his career in the early 1990's constructing soundscape installations at various locations in Germany. He has collaborated with a wide range of visual artists, musicians, producers and DJs and has released over 14 albums - beginning in 1995 with Home Listening is Killing Clubs.

The members of Subsonic Experience are traditionalists. Not so much in their thinking, but in their history. Bernhard Wöstheinrich (born in 1968) and Thorsten Niestrath (born in 1967) met in Arts School in Bielefeld, Germany, a city with a reputation in improvised experimental music and design. Being design students, the two worked together on a number of art projects which included film, performance art, painting and last but not least, the band Subsonic Experience (from autumn 1990 till summer 1993). Syndromeda (anagram of "The synthesizer syndrome of Andromeda ) is the Belgian composer Danny Budts.
In the mid-seventies he discovered EM. His first acquaintance was "Ricochet" of Tangerine Dream. In 1979 he built himself a modular synth, a Formant, and also bought a simple monophonic preset-synth a Roland SH-2000.
Now, more than 30 years later, he has a complete Midi-studio with different synths, samplers, effect-processors, vocoders, mixing & recording equipment, etc, and he feels that he is no longer limited by his instruments to make the music he wants.
His music is strongly inspired by the Teutonic " Berliner Schule ", but...
