Artur-Mihai Grila a.k.a. "R-Tur" is originally from Sibiu, Transylvania (Romania). His first contact with electronic music was in 1994, listening to genres like Acid, Trance, Techno or Hardcore. In 1997 began his Dj career, playing every Friday in a small club for the Sibiu raving community. A project of Alexey Markov, electronic musician from Nizhny Novgorod, Russian Federation, also known by his other projects Tenth Cloud, Quantum Mechanics and Vortex Mechanic. Radio Silence took start in early 2004 and was his only project for many years exploring themes of world beauty and human love, technology and mystics. It gathers many styles staying easy listening, chillout and new age with an intelligent behaviour. Radio Silence was discontinued several times with the last album in 2013. For now there are no plans to continue it.

Rene Splinter was born in December 1968 in The Hague, the Netherlands. Since 1977, Rene got interested into electronic music since he had heard Jean Michel Jarre's 'Oxygene'. It was in 1986 when Rene was introduced into the world of Electronic Music by his best friend. Within that year, Rene bought his first synthesizer, the Sequential Circuits Pro One. Since then he started to record his own music, first with very limited resources, by overdubbing the tracks with two cassette decks, and playing nearly everything manually. During the following years, Rene has been collecting more synths and recording equipment.
