Andy Pickford Andy Pickford

1 album available
on Something Else Records

Andy Pickford was one of the UK's major talents during the 1990's. Bursting onto the scene with "Replicant" he immediately established his credentials for producing infectiously melodic synth music with a filmic twist.
Xenomorph was released on Ian Boddy's Something Else Records label in 1996 a year after the two musicians had collaborated on Symbiont. It's a typical mix of lush, soundtrack style music mixed with uplifting melodies and up-tempo, powerful rhythmic sections.

Bombastic darkwave industrial beats from
the teutonic master of metal mayhem!

At the start of the millennia, Sash met with 'INTELLIGENTSIA', motivating his first commercial Project: 'PSYCLONIC PARANDROID', with the release of "Touching Tomorrow" on the 2001 global compilation "WORLDWIDEKIND". His artist name being a fusion of 4 words:

Arbelos Arbelos

on Arbelos

Arbelos was born on Tuesday 16th January 2007, a fusion of musical ideas brought by Mark Toner and Noel Chidwick. By Wednesday it had a MySpace profile and a song posted: Portraits in Stone. This birth was somewhat obscured by a couple of name-clashes, but the dust settled and the air cleared and music began to play.
The name is derived from a shape beloved by mathematicians, especially Archimedes, for its elegant properties. The shape is named after an ancient Greek shoemaker's knife. Arbelos as a band name is nice as it comes with its own logo. The band also hopes...

ARC ARC

on DiN

ARC are Ian Boddy and Mark Shreeve who have previously released Octane on Boddy's Something Else Record label. Mark Shreeve has recently been involved with his Redshift project that due to the use of his original Moog IIIC modular system has been recreating the vibe and feel of early 70's space music pioneers such as Tangerine Dream. However in ARC, whilst the Big Moog is still ever present Boddy's influence can be heard in shifting the music sideways with a more ambient feel.

See also ARC on Something Else Records for their first album Octane.
