Composing music for over 30 years but with relatively few commercial releases Walter remained an enigma. It seems that scoring music for film, stage or installations provided the right environment to apply his compositional, multi instrumentalist and production skills, which in turn flowed back into music albums. Aural paintings emerge from elements of classical, symphonic, electronic, acoustic and vocal arrangements with emphasis on theme and melody. Music felt like DNA embedded occurring naturally at an early age. Driven by love for Electronic music and instruments co founded the Belgian duo Pillion in the late '70's touring and releasing the live album Enigmas. Then Pillion took a break and Walter focused on a solo career releasing several thematic albums with complex, melodic arrangements. The last commercial release was Zebra in 1989. Since then, Walter followed other musical interests such as film and stage scoring, composing music in a wide range of musical styles, sometimes working with other musicians, or Friends.
