Escape Veloopity 15 tracks Running time: 0:56:21 Released: 01/2008 |
Escape Veloopity contains no compositions in the traditional sense. These electronic guitar loop improvisations form a logbook of explorations into ambient spaces, a collection of compositional sketches, and contain some unexpected results of experiments. The music is fresh, rough, and unpolished, and there are almost no overdubs except for some environmental sounds here and there. more info

Ambient Veloopity 15 tracks Running time: 1:07:17 Released: 01/2008 |
Comprising pieces taken from the sessions that produced the Escape Veloopity album, ‘Ambient Veloopity’ is a collection of atmospheric explorations performed entirely on guitar and utilising delays in unexpected ways. Echoing Robert Fripp’s more melodic Soundscapes pieces, Bass Communion, and the haunting instrumental work of David Sylvian, ‘Ambient Veloopity’ provides a unique insight into Michael Peters’ creative processes. more info

Most sounds are either - environmental sounds, that is, stuff that I... more info

stretched landscape #1 1 tracks Running time: 0:57:30 Released: 02/2001 |
A continuous suite of processed piano and textures, German composer Michael Peters (primarily, a guitarist) has produced a beguiling work worthy of comparison with the best of Brian Eno's Ambient output. Evocative, emotional and chilled. more info

Soaring In Circles 6 tracks Running time: 1:04:11 Released: 02/1984 |
Gary Snyder has written that meditation is "as fundamental a human activity as taking naps is to wolves or soaring in circles is to hawks and eagles." One could easily imagine that the soaring birds are in a state of meditation too, their minds weightlessly empty but completely awake and alert. An intriguing slice of vintage Peters Ambient drone music recorded in 1983-1984, utilising analogue synths and tape loops. more info
