Heliolatry 15 tracks Running time: 1:12:34 Released: 05/2013 |
Note: Best played back in a gapless format. Heliolatry is the third album from Mirrored Meridian and consists of a 13 track science-fantasy soundtrack, sandwiched between two space-ambient tracks. The story follows Aharnia as she escapes sacrifice to the sun god Urall Dum Ra, and embarks upon a quest to seek out the supposedly mythical Temple Of True Light. After a long journey the temple is revealed to her in all its majesty. The encounter sees her transformed and transferred to another plane of existence whereupon the essence of being is revealed to her. Just your normal day to day events! The music... more info

SynGate RT03 Released 2013 The fascination of outer space with its infinitive depth and unsolved questions, that mankind faced since ages inspired us as well for our new album „Solar Walk“. We want to let our audience share the soundtrip across the universe, heading for far away planets, galaxies and not yet experienced worlds (of sound) Sit back, relax, let go, enjoy floating synth-carpets, mystic choirs, or groove with us along the basslines, pulsing sequences and percussive elements. In Search Of The Acid Metal Grille 4 tracks Running time: 1:07:48 Released: 07/1998 |
From Dave Law at SMD: 'All manner of analogue sounds, cosmic warbles and other worldly effects mingle with the rhythm as we are taken on yet another bloody weird journey. A very hypnotic effect is created... ideal for those late night mental wanderings. Personally I loved it.' From Eurock: 'Since 1992 it seems that Steve Palmer and various mates have been exploring the outer reaches of futurist EM and space rock fusion. Their new album as the name implies is a real head-trip with its multiple analogue keyboards guitar and percussives all fusing into a cosmic musical mantra. The four long... more info

Postvorta 5 tracks Running time: 1:09:24 Released: 07/1993 |
“This is beautiful! Ambient music with a human heart.” {Musicians’ Network} “... an essential CD. Nothing like it in its field echoes of Hillage, ambient, world and more. Steve at his most musically accomplished.” {Mike Lloyd Music} “... a rather mellow and oddly progressive hypnotic tribal drumbeat. Ethnic bleepness and tribal synthesizers. Rather Hillage influenced we feel – with lashings of Central American style flutes, Egyptian reed pipes, Balinese whistles, Tibetan singing bowls and bells... very highly recommended too.” {Organ} “This soundscape is quite minimal and spacey, combining futuristic synth sounds with ethnic real world instruments on long, drawn-out voyages. Mooch take you... more info

Area 2000 16 tracks Running time: 1:08:47 Released: 12/2005 |
SynGate CD-R FK06 I am gripped by an air of déjà vu as Frank Klares 'Area 2000' album hits the CD player. This is an album that was originally reviewed by my good self in June earlier this year. An album which left me feeling that the collection of tracks presented here had been unduly edited down for no good reason, preventing the music from flowing in a more relaxed and familiar manner which l thought would have befitted an album of this nature more readily. Those lovely folks at SynGate having read the review, taking the comments onboard made the rather... more info
