Uwe Reckzeh - Behind the Northern Wasteland
Uwe Reckzeh's first solo-album had been produced in 1997 uniquely. Very dreamy and strong melodies, soft harmonies, sequencer sounds a la TD and Uwe's typical own style invite to a timeless journey. Loans from Kraftwerk like vocoders or 3D-effects, which could also belong to Jarre, create more diversification. Despite many involved genres, Behind the Northern Wasteland can be easily understood as concept-album. Uwe Reckzeh appoints themes and sounds skilfully which are repeated during the runtime of the album and which leave enough space for new options.
The album has been rematered professionally and the sound has been adjusted to the new albums.
