"Five Nocturnes" is a collection of One Sound works for electric guitar and computer processing, composed between 1998 and 2000. Each piece was recorded in realtime without overdubs or edits.

"Five Nocturnes" consists of five linked pieces in which I use long delays and other processing plugins, volume pedals, and eBows to extend the guitar's tones into infinity while gradually building up massed tonalities that slowly change over time.
