This is a re-mastered version (by JD) of the 1996 album by JD originally released on Surreal to Real. It is John's first 'foray' into the world of 'digital download' and hopefully there will be more to come in the future so that the albums are more widely available.
There are the 'typical' JD styles on this album ranging from his 'majestic' chordal style to the more up-beat sequencer based melodies using the sounds that he has become well-known for over the years, and also some guitar work for which he is also known. Lovely melodies combined with varying rhythyms give perhpas an idea of what does lie 'beyond the gates'!
